The ebullient set and costume designer Robert Jones curated fabulous pieces for the Opera, New Years Eve, 2013 Gala. The performance will be held at The Metropolitan Opera on December 31, 2013 and the pieces that the performers are primped to wear are set in Vienna between 1899-1900. The spirit of the production is about the Fashion, Art, and the culture of the New Vienna and Old Vienna so, there will be big ball gowns and tons of opulence galloping across the stage. The wardrobe on will be impeccable and the attendees will come dressed in fabulous gowns and ornamented masks that act as eyewear for a masquerade ball. The difference is they wear it to make absolute sure that they look exquisite to ring in 2014, with Die Fledermaus’ new production.
